Upper Campus - 7:25 a.m.-2:40 p.m.
Both campuses dismiss one hour early on Wednesdays.
Middle School Program
The IB Middle Years Program (MYP) course names are different from traditional names. All MS students will take 4 core classes and 2 language acquisition classes (taught exclusively in the L2).
Language and Literature (traditionally ELA)
Math or Accelerated (AC) Math
AC Math placement is dependent on gifted status and, if room is available, teacher recommendation
Science (6th Grade: Earth Science, 7th Grade: Life Science, 8th Grade: Physical Science)
Individuals and Societies (traditionally Social Studies)
MS Immersion (33% of each student's academic instructional day)

All MS students participate daily in Connections Rotation (a survey course which will include the following):
PHE (Physical and Health Education)
Arts (visual or performing)
Design (integrated computer science)
Students Needing Additional Academic Support
ICSAtlanta offers academic support classes in Reading and Math for identified students. If needed, students may be removed from their LA DLI course to accommodate the additional support class.
