The ICSAtlanta will empower each student to reach their academic and social potential by developing them into inquiring, multilingual, intercultural citizens of a global community.

Our Mission

The mission of ICSAtlanta is to prepare students for a successful future by promoting academic excellence through rigorous instruction, multilingualism, the integration of cultural awareness and respect throughout all aspects of the curriculum which will enable students to make the most of their individual talents.

Our Multi-Language Program

ICSAtlanta will implement a multi-language program in all grades and disciplines. Students will learn the Georgia common core standards through language immersion in three languages for every student.  ICSAtlanta will offer instruction by teachers who are native speakers of the language they teach.  Parents will choose from the following language tracks with every student receiving equal classroom time in each language:

1 - Mandarin/English/Spanish

2 - French/English/Mandarin

3 - French/English/Spanish

4 - German/English/Spanish

Students will learn in all three languages the following core disciplines:

1. Language Arts

2. Math

3. Social Studies

4. Science

5. Art

6. Personal, Social and Physical Education

Of Note: As a common standard and bonding language, all students in every grade will be taught in English.

Our Teaching Methods

At the core of our mission, we have the highest academic expectations for our students.  Through a focus on inquiry-based learning, ICSAtlanta will create the next generation of strong, internationally minded, multilingual leaders in our community.  ICSAtlanta plans to actively implement the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) curriculum in grades K-5.  This curriculum aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. In addition to implementing the IBO curriculum, we will emphasize the attitudes that nurture active, thoughtful and internationally-minded citizens of the world through a learner-centered and positive behavioral program.

Our School Timeline

The ICSAtlanta Founding Board members are meticulously working to open our school doors in August for the 2014-2015 school year.  The Letter of Intent has been sent to the state to inform them that we will be sending in our charter proposal.  We are also looking for our new school facility in the south Forsyth County area with convenient access to GA400.  The school address will be added to our website when a property has been secured.
